A Vacation With Purpose:

Volunteer Kenya

This One Decision can change your life FOREVER

Join Our 2 - 12 December 2026 Volunteer Trip with Giving by IAMVERSE

What If Your Next Trip Changed Everything?

Not just another vacation. Not just sightseeing. This is vacation with purpose.

The Backstory

The biggest problem we see in the world today is that there are a lot of people who wants to do a lot of good but are not quite sure how to start or maybe what is the best way to actually make a difference of lasting help. Like actually seeing a transformation from their contributions. That's why we created this Volunteer Trip for others to experience, give back and find deeper meaning in their life. For 10 days this December, you'll work alongside local leaders at the Giving by IAMVERSE Orphanage in Kenya. Building, teaching, connecting and making a tangible difference in the lives of children who need it most.

You'll return home with more than photos. You'll return transformed.

Why This Trip Matters

Every year, millions travel to "see the world."

At the Giving by IAMVERSE Orphanage, your hands-on work provides:

  • Safe shelter through building and maintenance projects

  • Education and skills through teaching and mentorship

  • Joy and hope through play, music, and genuine connection

  • Sustainable support that continues long after you leave

...THIS ISN'T JUST ANY CHARITY TRIP:

This is real work with real impact, guided by local leaders who know exactly what their community needs and giving the children a future that they deserve.

Established in 2011, Giving by Iamverse set out to provide an education and a home to over 200 orphans in West Kenya. In the 14 years that have passed, the project has faced many difficulties in regards to lands, funding and other resources.

This inspired us to start 'Project Sustainability', which has three main objectives:

#1

Use the land to grow crops, create jobs and produce an income for the project, so the centre can become self-sustainable.

  • This will allow the school to grow self-sufficient in regards to food, income and livelihood.

  • It also frees up more donations to be used for projects and improving the quality of life.

#2

To teach the students, teachers, staff and local population in ways that enable them to grow individually and as a community.

  • Changing the mindset of our students is imperative. Inspiring them to think differently, to challenge themselves and aspire for greater things is the key to achieving success.

  • As the ripples of this move outwards, a real change can be made to the local communities and it is our hope that this will generally improve the quality of life for all in the surrounding area.

#3

To bring volunteers into the school and work with them to continue improving the project.

  • Everyone has their own skills and passions to bring to the project. From engineers and builders who can tweak designs and make them more efficient, to bankers, teachers and lawyers who can teach the fundamental things that will make huge differences to our students lives, volunteers can make the most lasting contributions.

Giving by Iamverse April 2025 Trip: Planting for the Future Project

Now, 2 and 3 are where YOU come in.

You will have passions, experiences and skills that no one else on the team has and that makes you unique. That makes you a key player in what Giving by Iamverse is trying to achieve.

There is no 'maybe' - you will change those children's lives forever.

What You'll Actually Do

The Work (4-5 Hours Daily)

  • Build & Renovate: Painting, repairs, and hands-on projects

  • Teach & Mentor: Share your skills, whether that's math, music, sports or crafts

  • Care & Connect: Cooking, washing, playing and being fully present with the children

  • Learn & Grow: Training and guidance from Master and local community leaders

The Experience (The Rest of Your Day)

  • Evening storytelling and music sessions with the community

  • Traditional meals shared with locals and fellow volunteers
